Why use a touring kayak?

A BIG reason why!

Touring kayaks are designed primarily for extended multi-day trips along open ocean coastal regions. Designed for efficient paddling in a wide variety of sea and weather conditions. Touring Kayaks are faster and have more storage capacity than Recreational kayaks. These boats are very user friendly and are very very comfortable! They are a little more expensive but worth it. C Lick on the ones below to learn more!

That’s Outside My Boat

This is a must read for any athlete in need of a little inspiration.
Summary of book: “When veteran television announcer Charlie Jones got assigned to the hinterlands of Olympic broadcasting to cover rowing, canoeing, and kayaking, he serendipitously discovered a powerful philosophy for focused living: That’s Outside My Boat. He learned that Olympic rowers never let anything outside their boat prevent them from achieving their goals. Jones, with coauthor Kim Doren, realized that the world of business – and all aspects of life – could greatly benefit when this same perspective is applied. Bob Wright, NBC CEO & GE vice chairman; Terry Bradshaw, NFL broadcaster and TV personality; Jack Kemp, former vice-presidential candidate and codirector of Empower America; Liz Dolan, former Nike corporate vice president and cohost of the Satellite Sisters radio program on NPR; and many other business leaders apply this philosophy to their own experience in That’s Outside My Boat. It’s a powerful tool for business and life.”

I am prone to flip while kayaking, and now I do not have to worry about my paddle heading down the river while I get my boat flipped back over. Happy I got this…

Great product! Not too long or cumbersom. Holds tight on the paddle with no slippage. I was a little weary of the plastic loop clip but it worked great. No complaints at all.

The lease stays on the paddle securely and does not interfere with the paddling. My wife and I have dropped our paddles a few times and we would not take the chance paddling without a leash
